The Dodge Stratus Coupe seats five passengers with two front buckets and a folding three-place rear bench. The truck has 16 cubic feet of cargo space with a high truck opening. Standard-equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, a tilt steering column, remote keyless entry, and power windows, locks and mirrors. Optional equipment includes Serious Satellite Radio. The mid-sized Dodge Stratus SXT comes with air conditioning; power windows, mirrors and locks; cruise control and a CD player. While the R/T have leather seating and premium audio system. A sunroof is optional on the R/T, as is a CD changer and a full-size spare tire.

The Dodge Stratus is a stylishly designed mid-sized car that gives a fairly smooth, comfortable ride. . Both Dodge cars have four-speed automatic transmission. The standard engine on the Stratus is the SXT engine, a 2.4-liter, four cylinder powerplant with 150-horsepower. The R/T sedan is equipped with a more powerful 200-horsepower 2.70-liter V-6 engine, although it is available as an option for the SXT. The R/T comes with AutoStick, a semi automatic transmission that allows the driver to shift between gears without a clutch. For 2006, the R/T has been modified with ground effects and a rear magnesium spoiler wing.
